SPONSORSHIPS
for children and families in need

Building the

UBUNTU FARM

The Ubuntu Farm promotes food security, provides practical skills, and is intended to contribute to the school’s financial stability over the long term.

Led by James Nemyiamana, a former sponsored child with a degree in agriculture, this sustainable agricultural training and business project is taking shape. Workshops provide the community with all the skills they need.

Project
Sponsorships for Children and Families in Need

When we walk through the town of Kisoro and the surrounding area, groups of children approach us every day, begging us for money:
>Muzungu, give me money!<

These children have lost their homes and often their families. There are many reasons for this;
The main causes are AIDS-related deaths or illness among parents, and the financial, material and social collapse of the family.

With our help, St. Francis Mutolere Hospital has set up a Charity Committee to support these children and their families.

Since the end of 2021, we have been finding sponsors to help these children and their families build a future. Above all, the children need food, an education, and caring adults who will look after them personally.

For example, sisters Sarah and Dorcus, aged 6 and 11.
Their father left the family. Their mother and the children were driven out by the father’s family. They now live in a dilapidated hut with a leaking roof. When it rains, they stand all night to keep from getting wet and cold. They only have food when their mother can earn some money doing odd jobs.
Fortunately, we were able to find sponsors for the sisters, helping them attend school and get a hot meal every day.

Another way to support and strengthen not only the children themselves but also their families is through family sponsorship.

If you would also like to give a child or their family a new chance in life, please get in touch with us!!!
