UBUNTU ORPHANAGE
UBUNTU – A Home for Orphans in Uganda
Project: Establishing the UBUNTU Orphanage
For many years, we have been working with all our hearts and hands in Uganda. But one thing has always been missing: a loving home for children growing up without parents. We increasingly meet orphans who have experienced loss and uncertainty—children who urgently need warmth, security and stability.
This year, we decided to give these children a home. It is a bold step, but also a wonderful opportunity to live up to our responsibility and offer hope.
A place of care is taking shape
Close to our Ubuntu School, Sister Katto's house is ready to welcome them—a place full of potential. Her grown children have moved out, and Sister Katto, who will soon retire, has enthusiastically and compassionately agreed to make the orphanage a home. She already cares for many of these children and will become a loving, trusted adult for this new community.
Everything is coming together: a suitable house, an experienced and dedicated woman, and a supportive network. We know that establishing this orphanage will take time—one step at a time. But we are ready to take this journey.
UBUNTU – I am because we are
Our heartfelt project is deeply rooted in the Ubuntu philosophy, which holds that none of us can live apart from our community. After all, I am because we are!
This orphanage is therefore logically and emotionally connected to the Ubuntu School, our Ubuntu Sponsorship Program, and our support for children and families in need.
Help us bring hope!
If you feel moved by this project—if you share the Ubuntu spirit with us—we invite you to become part of this vision. Your donation can make a difference: it can give children a safe start in a new life filled with warmth, education and community.
Every contribution counts! Together, we can create a home!!!

For example, sisters Sarah and Dorcus, aged 6 and 11.
Fortunately, we were able to find sponsors for the sisters, helping them attend school and get a hot meal every day.
